I’ve been writing since I learned how. In the fifth grade I wrote a sci-fi story about a spaceship called Starglazer (not “gazer” but “glazer”). Our English teacher had a brother who was an astrophysicist and she sent my story to him. He scrawled on the bottom of the final page a few words I’ll never forget: “You are obviously curious and have read much. Keep on going, even when it gets difficult.”
I’m still curious, still reading much, and still weaving stories. Please let me continue to show how I tell a story by telling you my own.
